Adobe just released Photoshop Elements 2020, the most powerful derivative of Photoshop to date. Available for $99 (or bundled with also-new Adobe Premier Elements for $149 retail) the latest version features automation powered by Adobe Sensei, their amazingly potent AI engine, and three access levels to suit Beginners, Intermediate Users and Experts. If you haven’t seen Elements recently (and I suspect many of you fall into that category) you will be surprised by the range and capabilities of this inexpensive photo editor. What follows here is my recap.

DxO just announced a major upgrade for the popular Nik plug-in suite. Named the Nik Collection 2, the additions include 42 new presets, a bundle version of DxO PhotoLab 2.3 Raw format processor and more. We had a chance to try out a pre-release copy. The Paris, France-based imaging company DxO just announced the release of DxO PhotoLab 2, which is the latest iteration of its Raw image processing and editing software that had once been called DxO OpticsPro. 

Along with previewing a cool new Photoshop on the iPad app that’s coming next year, Adobe also unveiled the new Photoshop CC 2019 image editing software today at the Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles. One of the Adobe experts who’s already tried out Photoshop CC 2019 is Colin Smith of photoshopCAFE.
