Want Photos That Go VIRAL? Try These 5 FUN Tricks (VIDEO)

Sooner or later every photographer’s creative vision runs dry, whether they’re an avid amateur or a working pro. The quick tutorial below provides a heavy dose of inspiration for the next time you run out of ideas.

We often turn to photographer Jordi Koalitic for fun ideas that result in eye-popping images. In today’s video he demonstrates five simple tricks, with several variations, that will enable you to easily capture images that stand out from the rest.

This four-minute episode is a visual tutorial without dialogue, so all you have to do is sit back and watch Koalitic work his magic. No special gear is required, except a few household items you already own. So take a look and get busy.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a few sparklers, a simple costume, a bouquet of flowers, and a flashlight or headlamp. There’s also an easy light-painting technique that delivers unique portraits. The captions on Koalitic’s photos reveals the camera and lens used to make the shots, along with exposure information.

One of our favorite images is the low-light photo he made after putting a few sparklers in the spokes of a motorcycle. Another cool trick involves laying a framed mirror on the ground, filling it with water, and capturing a portrait in the reflections.

You’ll also see how a simple prop, like the butterfly wings in the lead photo above, can deliver awe-inspiring results. Koalitic’s five tips are likely to give you additional ideas for similarly eye-catching photos.
