Nick Carver Shares His Secrets for Making and Framing Great Fine Art Prints (VIDEO)
Photographer Nick Carver says, “There’s no better satisfaction than framing a print to hang on the wall. Creating a tangible, real-life piece of wall art is far more rewarding than uploading a file to Instagram or Flickr.” In the video below, Carver takes you through his process and describes the equipment he uses.
Carver captured the image in the video during a solo camping trip to California’s Anza-Borrego Desert, a perfect example of the type of landscape photographs he prefers—what he calls an “understated composition with a clean color palette.”
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is a great destination for photography and wildlife viewing, as well as hiking, camping, stargazing, and enjoying some of the most beautiful wildflowers anywhere. It has both daytime and overnight facilities, and it definitely belongs on your bucket list.
