I made this image on a trip to Jupiter Island FL for work. It was taken at the Blowing Rock Nature Preserve. I had seen a couple of Clyde Butchers images from their lactation and it inspired me to visit there on my next trip to Florida. I went early to catch the sunrise and made my way along the rocky beach. There were these amazing rock formations jutting out into the ocean that were being battered by the waves. I positioned myself facing the sun as it began to rise and bathe everything in its golden rays. The flare from the sun hitting the lens created this wonderful feeling of being splashed with sunlight along with the waves.
