I am fortunate in that I live in an area of southern BC Canada that has a number of herds of California Bighorn sheep. The downside is that to photograph them you need to spend a lot of time hiking the hills and mountains to find them. I was fortunate with this twosum as the day was coming to a close so the light was perfect for this profile photo. The Rams had just finished a round of head butting as it was late fall and the rut was on. The were tired and began to snuggle up to one another as if looking for comfort.Camera was a Canon 7D with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/400 sec and ISO was at 200.
