South Okanagan Valley, BC Canada. While out for a hike in some nearby grasslands I came upon this Black Bear that was stuffing it's face with dandelions that were in the field. It just kept eating and eating in an effort to recover some of the weight it lost during hibernation. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for this photo as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was 1/320 sec and ISO was at 200.
