Brazilian Photographer Marcos Alberti Plied His Subjects With Wine and the Portraits are Hilarious

Brazilian photographer Marcos Alberti was inspired by an apocryphal quote that goes something like this: “The first glass of wine is all about the food, the second glass is about love, and the third glass is about mayhem.” Thus, Alberti’s Three Glasses of Wine project was born.

He photographed friends from all walks of life—musicians, artists dancers and architects—after one, two, and three glasses of wine and some friendly banter. The idea was to have some fun, and explore how facial expressions change after the stress and fatigue of a day of work, followed by a few relaxing libations.

The images themselves are not much more than casual snapshots, and while there is no mayhem depicted, the results are quite amusing. You can view more of Alberti’s work on his website and Facebook page.
