Yesterday we told you about Polaroid's new Zip mobile printer and now here's another new  product from the venerable imaging brand. Polaroid’s new Socialmatic camera combines the nostalgic look of a vintage Polaroid instant camera with the ability to share your images via the camera’s built-in WiFi and Android interface.

Canon unveiled three new super-zoom cameras to its PowerShot SX lineup this morning, along with two new compact models to its sleek and chic ELPH line. The announcements were timed with the start of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is opening in Las Vegas, Nevada this week.

Ready for the holidays, Lomography just announced the official release of their Lomo’Instant Camera. It is available at the Lomography online shop, Gallery and Embassy Stores around the world. If you order a Lomo’Instant Black or White model now it will arrive within a few days. The Sanremo model is currently sold out but it can be pre-order with an estimated delivery date of early December. (The Sanremo Edition comes with a free Lomo’Instant camera strap and online orders also get special discounted bundles.)

Edwin Land introduced his first instant camera 66 years ago. Now Supersense presents their 66/6, a new pinhole instant camera (limited to 500 handcrafted pieces) dedicated to the Polaroid founder. Just six years after Polaroid closed down its last film factory, Supersense unveiled this new instant camera that uses Polaroid’s classic White Frame Instant Film format, currently produced by The Impossible Project.

JK Imaging, Ltd., which is now the worldwide licensee for the Kodak brand,  PIXPRO Digital Cameras and Devices, has announced the new Kodak Pixpro SP360 Action Cam. This small and portable device was designed to capture 360-degree HD videos and fully immersive images all in one shot, ie. without the need for multiple cameras or other devices. The SP360 Action Cam is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and features a dome-shaped fixed lens that captures 360-degree HD videos (at 30fps) that can be shot and viewed from multiple vantage points including: 360-degree Panorama, Front (212 degrees), Split with 180 degrees front and rear views simultaneously, Dome (214 degrees) and Ring/Sphere (360 degrees) modes.

Ricoh Imaging has just unveiled the new rugged and waterproof WG-30W compact camera. The latest addition to the well-known WG series of tough cameras – which used to carry the Pentax brand that’s now owned by Ricoh – the 16-megapixel WG-30W features built-in WiFi connectivity and a snazzy, rough-and-tumble build.

Fujifilm was showing off its new toys at photokina today and we got some hands-on time with these latest X-series cameras and lenses. Initially announced on September 10th, the Fujifilm X100T and XT-1 Graphite Silver cameras, and Fujinon XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR and XF56mm F1.2 R APD lenses continue to build on Fuji’s compact and retro-style (Fuji would say “classic" style) X-Series line.
