Nano-sized Zano Drone Gives You Aerial Imaging in the Palm of Your Hand

Even if you've seen aerial imaging drones before, you've probably never seen one as small as the Zano.

The Zano is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and uses the Lantronix xPico Wi-Fi module to provide secure and direct connectivity to iOS and Android devices, enabling users to communicate with and control the drone through their smartphone or tablet.

A smartphone or tablet can be used to direct the Zano or set the intelligent nano drone to automatically follow the user and capture photos/video from a fixed distance. A multitude of sensors work together to allow the ZANO to avoid various obstacles, hold its position and know exactly where it is in conjunction with a smart device, at all times.

Pricing on the Zano aerial drone has not been annouced yet. It will make it's official debut at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month.
