We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: it’s not nice to buzz wildlife with aerial drones. In the latest incident of “when animals attack drones,” a chimpanzee at the Royal Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands can be seen swatting a pesky drone out of the air with a big stick in the below video.

The drone then crashes to the ground and a chimp goes eyeball-to-camera-eyeball with the downed UAV before growing bored with it and walking away.

The incident recalls the time when a protective mother kangaroo knocked a drone out of the air when it flew too close to her little one. That run-in was also captured on video.

Will humans never learn?
