Shutterbug Photo of the Day

Our Shutterbug Photo of the Day by Chris Burt features a weathered, old building with its interior lit by an eerie green glow.

“Abandoned bottle shop in the west Texas ghost town of Orla, Texas. A photographer mentor of mine and I took a trip through west Texas and found this little gem of a building back off the main highway. The clouds were perfect that night and made for a great image,” writes Burt.

This image was captured with a Canon 40D and a Canon 17-40mm f/4L lens at 17mm, ISO 200, f/5.6. It's a 77-second exposure in full moon light. A green-gelled strobe was fired off inside for effect and a little flashlight on the front for fill light.
