Shutterbug Photo of the Day: "Angel in the Mist" by Douglas Croft
We’ve posted several amazing shots of Horsetail Falls in Yosemite National Park during its rare “firefall” exposure but today’s Shutterbug Photo of the Day is a masterful image by Douglas Croft of Yosemite Falls in all its regular glory.
“Horsetail Falls gets all the love this time of year, but Yosemite Falls is pretty special too!,” Croft writes. “After shooting Horsetail, we hiked up the Four Mile Trial to get a view of Yosemite Falls in the light of the full moon. I loved the effect of the blowing mist and a semi-long exposure.”
He captured it with a Nikon D7000 DSLR and Nikkor 70-200mm lens at f/2.8, ISO 2000, 8 sec. See more of Croft’s work on his website.
