Super Sizer
If you like to print your photos, chances are you like to print them big. Oftentimes, it’s “the bigger, the better” when it comes to photo prints. That’s why Epson made the SureColor P8000. This 44-inch professional photo printer uses Epson’s UltraChrome HD eight-color ink set, which includes a new black ink that’s 1.5 times denser than the previous formula to improve contrast while increasing clarity. Meanwhile, a new Resin Encapsulation Technology is designed to create a uniform gloss coating for a smoother, cleaner surface. The P8000 also features Epson’s Precision TFP Printhead, which can create ink droplets as small as 3.5 picoliters for precise detail in your photo prints. If you like to try lots of different media types to print your photos on—and most photographers we know do—the P8000 is designed to support virtually any media type in either roll or cut-sheet, including everything from classic photo paper to 1.5mm thick fine art media and poster board. The P8000’s new roll media handling offers user-selectable 3mm top and bottom margins along with improved guide rollers to reduce pressure on the paper’s surface as it prints.

"That big screen features 5.6 million pixels, the most ever for an iOS device, and if you’ve had a chance to play around with a jumbo-sized iPad Pro, you know what an improvement it is for editing and showing off your photos compared to the original model."

Dream Screen
Since the advent of the original iPad, we’ve been waiting for Apple to increase the screen size and they’ve finally delivered with the Apple iPad Pro and its glorious 12.9-inch Retina display. That big screen features 5.6 million pixels, the most ever for an iOS device, and if you’ve had a chance to play around with a jumbo-sized iPad Pro, you know what an improvement it is for editing and showing off your photos compared to the original model. Of course, you’ll probably also want to purchase the optional Apple Pencil (yes, though it would seem to be against Steve Jobs’s wishes, the company has finally made a serious stylus) and Smart Keyboard (for serious writing), pushing the cost into the stratosphere. But it may be worth it. Along with offering 78 percent more screen area compared to the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2, the iPad Pro features Multi-Touch technology and a 64-bit A9X chip for faster photo and video editing.

Shoulder Holders
Think Tank Photo went all “hell bent for leather” with a stylish update to its popular Retrospective photographer shoulder bag line. Called the Retrospective 5 Leather, Retrospective 7 Leather, and Retrospective 30 Leather, the three bag models in the revamped line feature genuine Dakota leather cover flaps and leather accents on the shoulder pad and other areas. Below the leather, each bag’s fabric is treated with a water-resistant coating while the underside is layered with polyurethane for additional protection against the elements. Otherwise, these snazzy but rugged shoulder bags keep the Retrospective’s casual, form-fitting design and include the new Dual Cross buckle on the front flap for extra security. Visit Think Tank Photo’s website to find out what photo gear will fit into each model in the new Leather lineup.
