OmegaBrandess recently introduced the Phottix Mitros and Mitros+ TTL flashes (with proprietary Sony multi-interface hotshoe). The two new Phottix flash units were designed to fit the multi-interface hotshoe that is found on newer Sony cameras and the flash units communicate with the camera in order to operate as a system.

Fujifilm has introduced two new macro extension tubes for its line of X-Series interchangeable lens cameras and a launch date for its major firmware update and PC tethered shooting software HS-V5 for the FUJIFILM X-T1 (Graphite Silver) and X-T1 (Black) cameras. The updates offering additional features and enhanced controls will also be made available for the Fujifilm X-E2, X-E1, X-Pro1and X30.

Born in Toronto Canada, Douglas Kirkland used his talent for photography to build a successful career that spans 60 years. Starting out with Look magazine, Kirkland then moved on to Life magazine where he became a photojournalist. This provided him with the exciting opportunity to explore such places as Greece, Lebanon and Japan.
