Wi-Pics is designed for anyone who shoots large volumes of images and needs
to easily find them. The DICE AMERICA Wi-Pics with a USB port allows Wi-Pics
users to work with hand held barcode scanners, magnetic strip readers, and later
this year RFID. What makes Wi-Pics unique from other wireless cameras is its
data association. Data association is the ability to rename files as they are
captured and place data into the EXIF header of a JPEG file. Wi-Pics can work
with virtually any digital camera with a type 2 compact flash port.

Based on their highly successful Goombah, the new mini-Goombah has all the same
features, in a smaller, lighter package. It's both a rolling case and
a backpack. The wide-set oversize wheels provide a stable platform for rolling
the case through airports, or down city streets. The thickly padded concealable
shoulder straps, adjustable lumbar pad and waist belt transforms the mini-Goombah
into a backpack.

Sigma Corporation has announced the launch of the new 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC MACRO
lens, an ideal large aperture standard zoom lens for digital SLR cameras featuring
an APS-C size image sensor. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 20cm
(7.9") throughout the entire zoom range. Maximum magnification of 1:2.3
enables close-up photography like a macro lens. The new lens design and multi
layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting. A Special Low Dispersion (SLD)
lens and two aspherical lens elements provide excellent correction for all types
of aberrations and produce a high level of optical performance throughout the
entire zoom range.

Coming this spring, the new Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 features
a Di optical system designed for both digital and film cameras. Di (Digitally
Integrated) is a designation Tamron gives lenses featuring optical systems designed
to meet the performance characteristics of digital SLR cameras as well as film
cameras.

SanDisk Corporation announced the addition of new card capacities to its Extreme
III line of flash cards for professional digital cameras that are double the
highest capacity points currently available. The new cards include the 8-gigabyte
(GB) CompactFlash, 2GB SD and 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo digital film cards.

Panasonic has introduced the latest of their "super zoom" models,
the six-megapixel DMC-FZ7. This compact camera features a Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT
lens system, a 12x optical zoom (equivalent to 36mm to 432mm on a 35mm film
camera lens) with aperture of F2.8 to 3.3, and Panasonic's MEGA Optical
Image Stabilizer.
