This photo was taken during a snow storm in December, 2013 at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, NY. It was the first snow of the season and I was very excited to get out and shoot! I arrived at the security gate entrance where the guard very politely informed me that they were closed due to ...of course.. the snow storm. However, the guard took a little pity on me and let me in to photograph the estate. I had the grounds to myself to photograph, what an experience! This was one of my favorite photos to have emerged from such an exciting day!
