I made this photograph while living and working in Saudi Arabia.
I used a Nikon D70 camera with a Sigma 28-200mm zoom lens. For lighting I uses the built-in flash on the D70 with a white handkerchief draped over it to just fill in the shadows a bit.
This Agama lizard was living close to the area where we worked. We had nicknamed him Gonzo because he had a bit of a determined personality. He was fearless and when hungry was even more fearless.
