Watch What Happens When a Camera Captures a Single Tree Over the Course of a Year

Happy Friday, everyone! Here's something warm and fuzzy to start your weekend off right.

In the below video from National Geographic, a remote camera set up in the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, Italy, recorded a tree for 365 days. As you'll see in the video, a variety of animals visited the tree over the course of the year and, ahem, paid their respects.

We're assuming it's a motion-sensitive camera, so someone didn't have to spend literally a year editing this footage down into the 1:42-minute video you see below. How many different animals did you spot? Which was your favorite?

Let us know in the comments below and enjoy your weekend!
