I was attempting to photograph a honeybee that was collecting nectar from the Clerodendrum blossoms in my back yard. Just as I was ready to press the shutter release, this Green Anole lizard attacked the bee which made me jump from surprise. So then I began shooting a series of exposures to hopefully capture a good image. I expected the lizard would quickly release the bee and shake it's head and run away, but surprisingly, it held on to it for probably 5 seconds before it released the bee. It did not act as though it was hurt and the bee flew away. You can see the bee in the lizard's mouth in this image.
