This photo was taken by the tufas as Mono Lake in California at sunset. It was clear from the cloud formations thata luminous scene would emerge. I photographed this sunset with a Nikon D 7100, Nikkor Zoom Lens (18-200 mm.), with a Cokin 3 step Graduated Neutral Density Filter. The ISO was 100, F/16, 1.3 second exposure, with a Focal Length of 32 mm. I used a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head.
