All along the edge of the dunes on Venice Beach are huge clumps of Dune Sunflowers. Some are loose or with broken stems. Eager to practice macro, I placed a flower on the rim of a clam half filled with water. Sony a6000 used with flash, handheld, 16-50mm kit lens w/ 26mm of extension tube rings, cropped and noise/color noise reduced using Lightroom. This photo was taken on a temporary sand bluff above sea level, Errrrr .... . Gulf level. Offshore winds help with the presentation for sure !
