While it might look as though this is a forest fire, it's actually the setting sun's final peek through the trees and glow on the clouds.

I shot this with a Canon EOS 50D camera and a Sigma 150-500mm 1:5-6.3 APO HSM lens. My settings were 1/8000; f/16; ISO 100; 500mm.
