Gulls dunk themselves repeatedly, then rise up to execute dramatic stretches, as here. Whenever they begin dunking (with an uncluttered background:), I begin shooting. I was on the shore of Lake Washington at a cove where the Gulls and Mallards hang out.
Canon 5D Mark IV, 400mm lens, F/6.3, ISO 1250, 1/2000.
