This yearling cub had been fishing with his mom at Brooks Falls. He suddenly got quite agitated and bolted from the water and into a tree right next to the viewing platform where we were standing. He seemed as interested in us as we were of him and gave us the best photo ops of our whole trip to Brooks Falls.

Doug,
You nailed. Brooks Camp and Katmai are a special place. I have been there, but did not get an opportunity for a shot like this.
