My wife and I were on a three week vacation on the Oregon coast, this particular night was spent camping at Sunset Bay. As we walked down to the ocean to watch the sun set I heard a coast guard helicopter flying overhead. Running down a dark trail towards the beach, fumbling with my camera settings, I was hoping to get a shot of the helicopter silhouetted against the orange sky. Shot with a Canon 7D, w/ 24-105, ISO 250, 1/100 sec, F4.5.
