This image was taken at the Valley Of Fire State Park in Nevada by Robert Thurston of Wilmington, NC. A Nikon D300 was used with Nikon 12-24mm f/4 DX lens on 8/14/12 to capture the image. Photoshop CC was used for the edit along with an assortment of Nik & Topaz plug-in filters.
