Walking through a field full of nettles and thistles I could be heard a mile away as I "ouched", "OW'd" and screeched my way though. Then there was silence as I saw the most beautiful damselfly in front of me. I then proceeded to "OW" and "OUCH" my way further into the nettles to capture some photos. 24 hours later the pain has finally subsided but worth every moment to spend time with this beauty and his mate.
Image was taken with a Nikon D500 and 70-300mm VRII lens. 1/1250, F8, ISO900, EV+0.3. Developed in LR to reduce highlights and lift shadows, lens corrections and calibrating the blue. The photo was then put through Topaz Sharpening.
