The Bristlecone Pine forest is on my "five most magical places" list. The light is breathtaking and the photographic opportunities are nearly endless. Here, I took my time and captured a number of experimental shots to find the perfect angle. The mid-day light called for the photo to be converted to monochrome using Silver Efx Pro. Equipment: Canon 5DMKIII, 16-35 Canon L series lens, steadied on a Really Right Stuff Tripod.
