Unless you happen to live in Church Hill, TN or traveled through here it's safe to say you haven't heard of Laurel Falls. About a mile hike through the mountains at Laurel Run Park will take you to this beautiful spot. It's an avid swimming hole for us here in Church Hill, many kids love going behind the waterfall and playing along the ledge and unlike many popular swimming holes, there is little to no trash. Many people in the community take great pride in what little trail system we have and the local park employees do a terrific job maintaining the area. Laurel Falls and Laurel Run for that matter get their names from all of the mountain laurel that inhabits the area. In the spring along the trail you will be overwhelmed by the Trillium and other wild flowers that grow in our area. It's simply a beautiful place close to home.
