This was taken early in the morning at Holden Beach, NC where my family was vacationing. I got up early in hopes of catching a beautiful sunrise and my efforts paid off as the combination of light and clouds was incredible that morning.

I used Lightroom to HDR merge 3 images. I used this technique to maximize the dynamic range of my Canon T2i. This was taken with the kit 18-55mm lens at 18mm, 1/10 sec, f/14, ISO100 on a Manfrotto tripod.
