This was taken with my Pentax K-5 IIs using a smcPentax Da 18-250mm lens. It was shot at ISO 400, 25mm, f/14 at 1/125. I have always been a fan of Ansel Adams and on this trip to Yellowstone I was looking for images that I could convert to black and white trying for some of the tonal qualities that you see in Ansel's images. This image just became a "photograph" when I converted it to black and white using Silver Efex Pro 2.
