The image was taken at the Pronghorn Ranch Rd. crossing as the Grand Canyon Railway steam train was returning from the Grand Canyon to the Williams Station. The monsoon created dramatic skies and misty conditions in the late afternoon.

I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with an EF 24-105 f/4.0 lens at 24mm. The settings were ISO 400, f/11, 1/320 sec.
