'Gold Leaf' shows a worker in Yangon, Burma, pounding gold into the thin pieces of leaf which are then used by the Buddhists...and an occasional tourist...to cover the Buddha as a gesture of reverence. The force and energy that goes into this work is in marked contrast to the delicacy of the finished product. I took this shot in February, 2012, using a Canon 5D Mark III and the Canon 70-200 F4 lens at F4, 1/60. Levels tweaked in Photoshop; structure tweaked in Viveza 2. Full name: Nina Laserson Dunn
