This is a Glossy Ibis with a beautiful brownish/copper feather coloration on the chest coordinating with the iridescent feathers on the head and wings. All of this colors are enhanced under sunlight making this bird a special one since it is not that common to find around as the White Ibis are. This Ibis is an injured bird under care in the Wildlife Sanctuary at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida.
