This view is history(npi). Hurricane Ian stripped the trees down to the branches and toppled one of them! They have been photogenic. This part of Venice beach has a path from the parking lot to the beach. The trail goes low under the trees. A thunderstorm just blew through, and when I walked under the 100 ft pines the mammatus clouds provided an excellent background for my eye.
