I took this picture with a D600 and a 50mm 1.8G lens using a single SB-700 flash (off camera)and a Rogue Flashbender. I believe I had my aperture at F11. I took the photo during a class presentation at a middle school in Centennial Colorado. I wanted to isolate the bird so I underexposed the room and used the flash to light him. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to shoot both this eagle and a Eurasian eagle owl from so close. Enjoy!
