The fall colours came and went very quickly this past year so I decided to take a different approach to photographing autumn leaves by bringing them indoors and setting up a macro studio. After trying several different types of leaves and arrangements, I flipped a maple leaf over and discovered the intricate lines and textures that were underneath. The image was made using a Canon 6D with a Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro USM lens, 100mm, 1/100 second, f2.8, ISO 4000. Edits made in Lightroom and Photoshop
