Most professional photographers are meticulous about keeping the sensors on their cameras clean, because it’s far easier to do that than use Photoshop to remove every speck of dust on an image. In the quick video below, pro Tony Northrup demonstrates his favorite sensor-cleaning method, after experimenting with several others.

Fujifilm unveiled the new Fujifilm X-A5 mirrorless camera with XC15-45mm lens kit this morning. The new X-A5 and 15-45mm lens is the lightest camera-zoom lens combination within the X Series lineup, according to the Fujifilm North America Corporation, which announced the new mirrorless camera kit this morning.

Shutterbug, a member of the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), once again joined forces with 30 other member magazines from around the world to choose the winners of the annual TIPA Awards for the best photo/imaging products in 40 different categories. The award process began in early 2017 with an initial selection of a wide range of products conducted by TIPA’s Technical Committee, on which Shutterbug’s Editor-at-Large George Schaub serves.

Panasonic took the wraps off a new mirrorless camera at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas: the Lumix GH5S, which is designed for professional filmmakers and videographers along with photographers. The Panasonic GH5S, which follows on the heels of the popular GH5 mirrorless camera, features a newly developed 10.2MP MOS imaging sensor, designed to be particularly sensitive while shooting in low light.
