When photographers use the term "workflow" they're usually referring to the process they use when editing their photos, but there's another essential workflow to consider that doesn’t get as much attention. And that's the shooting workflow that relies upon key camera settings to capture the best possible images in the field.

Three of the most talked about full-frame, interchangeable lens cameras of the past year, undoubtedly, have to be the Sony A7R III and A7 III mirrorless cameras, and the Nikon D850 DSLR. While we’ve reviewed all three models at Shutterbug, we haven’t done a direct head-to-head comparison of them.

Some photographers may think that every camera is only capable of making the exact same sound when the shutter is pressed (to capture a single shot or a rapid burst of images): that familiar soft metallic click. While that may seem to be true, in reality nearly every make and model of camera has a shutter sound that is quite unique.

In 2009, Fine Art photographer Betsey Chesler decided to use her craft to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged teens, and she launched the Cameras For Kids Foundation (CFKF).  The idea was to put cameras in the hands of kids and teach them basic concepts of art and photography—thereby fostering self-esteem, confidence, and a skillset they could be proud of.

Camtrol, a stabilizing
platform for video and DSLR cameras, is said to open a new world of balance,
support, and freedom for action shots taken by videographers and photographers.
Camtrol’s action control grip (ACG) with its anatomical articulating ergonomics
provides for natural hand positioning and control. The ACG has a hollow inside,
which accommodates any remote--putting control of the camera always under
the thumb of the shooter. Camtrol with a remote is a one-handed operation
giving the user the liberty to take any shot without restriction, and it works
for right- and left-handed shooters.
