This photo was taken from a high point overlooking the Athabasca Glacier in Canada. A Nikon D600 with a Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 lens was used. The exposure was f/16 and 1/1000 sec. The dark figures on the ice are tiny, but if you enlarge the image, they are clearly recognizable and provide a sense of scale.
