Seriously? Do We Really Need a Voice-Activated “Digital Assistant” to Edit Our Images? (VIDEO)

What if you had an “intelligent voice-activated digital assistant” to help you edit your photographs via simple vocal commands? It sounds sort of crazy, but that’s exactly what a team at Adobe is exploring as you can see in the video below from the company’s YouTube channel.

The concept is that image editing would be as simple as having a pleasant conversation with your mobile device, at which point the system’s voice recognition technology would understand and implement your instructions—either locally or through a cloud-based service.

The folks at Adobe say this project is just the first step toward a “multimodal” voice-based interface designed to help photographers search and edit their images. So what do you think: yea or nay?
