We live in the city, so often our most intimate encounters with wildlife occur at the zoo. I kept my Kindergartener home from school for the day and we went to his favorite place, the aquarium at the Houston Zoo. He was fascinated to have a prolonged encounter with a spotted eagle ray. I loved his reflection in the glass and the way the light hit him in the darkened aquarium. I took the shot at he was shaking hands and giving him a "high-five".
