This was taken on the second day of our Spring Break this year, on the Texas Gulf Coast (Port Alto). We had a non-existent winter this year and as soon as Spring Break rolled around, so did the cold, windy, dreary weather. My kids were bummed, but I was more than a little excited as I knew those clouds over the pier were just dying to be shot. While setting up the tripod, a little peek of sunshine appeared right over the pier. I shot this on my Nikon d750 with my Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART lens at ISO 100, f/16 at .5 sec. I used a polarizing filter and a ND grad filter.
