Beulah Park is located near Santa Cruz and was a summer camp that has long been abandoned. Several cabins extend out into the woods on top of a ridge that sharply descends on either side. Over the years all of the cabins have started to slide off and as you walk along the path the scene is one of lop-sided cabins at sometimes extreme angles as they slowly fall off the ridge.
This photograph was captured using an Olympus OMD-EM1 using an Olympus 7-14mm lens at 7mm. I think the distortion of the wide angle helps to accentuate the crazy angles of the cabin. Several photographs were taken at different exposures and later combined in Photomatix. The saturation was removed in post processing as the colors were muted to begin with and detracted from the composition.
