Arizona photographer Mike Oblinski has a unique dual specialty: He not only shoots weddings but also is well known for his epic time-lapse films. In the 4K black-and-white video below, Oblinski captures some truly astounding weather and tornadoes during an incoming storm.

A couple weeks ago we brought you some breaking news about a Super Resolution feature in Adobe Camera Raw that effectively quadruples the size of an image. Our take was that this capability would be particularly useful for those using older cameras with a lower pixel count, thereby enabling some cropping while still ending up with a relatively large file.

It’s a good bet that if you place several photographers in the same setting at the same time, their results will be dramatically different. And that holds true whether the subject is a stunning landscape, a sporting event, or in this case an attractive model.

In what can best be described as the “speed dating” of portraiture, the video below demonstrates what happens when two photographers give themselves 10 seconds, one minute, and 10 minutes to capture a great portrait. Sounds crazy, right? But the results are pretty impressive.

I don't just use clouds in many of my photographs; I actively pursue them for my images. If I hear a storm is a few days out, I'll travel to meet it. I'm not talking about hurricanes—I'll travel away from one of those; but give me an approaching garden-variety Florida storm, and I'll be there.
