Photokina in Cologne, Germany this week has been (largely) about high-end cameras and there’s not much higher-end than what Leica unveiled at the show: the S3 camera. We got some hands-one time with this 64MP medium format monster at photokina and have to say that if there’s one camera we dream about owning someday, this would be it!

Remember the early days of the mirrorless format, with the promise of tiny full-featured cameras and equally small lenses? The idea was to give mobile photographers an interchangeable-lens kit with an array of DSLR-like capabilities in a much smaller package.

I don't just use clouds in many of my photographs; I actively pursue them for my images. If I hear a storm is a few days out, I'll travel to meet it. I'm not talking about hurricanes—I'll travel away from one of those; but give me an approaching garden-variety Florida storm, and I'll be there.

Today marks the launch of the second season of the “Nikon Behind the Scenes” video series. The second season starts with Nikon Ambassador (and wedding photographer) Cliff Mautner’s “Nikon Behind the Scenes: Wedding Day Portraits with Cliff Mautner.”
