The Northern Crested Caracara is a threatened bird of prey species in Florida. Unlike its falcon relatives, the Caracara hunts on foot. This picture was made at Zoo Miami in January 2018 using a Canon 1Dx and 70-200 IS lens at ISO 1000, 1/4000 sec F7.1.
