The roseate spoonbill is one of the prettiest native birds on the gulf coast of Florida. Their distinctive pink color is diet-derived like the flamingo. This shot was captured in the Everglades section of Zoo Miami. Shot with Canon 1Dx and 70-200mm lens at ISO 400, 1/125 sec f 7.1.
