This is a good example of photo opportunities in your backyard. I set up my Nikon D200 on a tripod about 10 feet from our backyard birdbath, attached a remote shutter release on the camera and hid from site and observed the activity from a convenient window.
I took a series of several shots of many birds, mostly robins, and this was what I thought the best of the bunch. The robin sat briefly facing the camera letting the warm sun help dry his feathers.
