My first thought was to call this peaceful scene “Camargue Horses at Rest” because the published photos of these semi-wild horses usually show them furiously running and splashing through the water. The photograph was taken in the Camargue region of southern France with a Nikon D300 camera and a Nikkor 18-200 mm VR lens at 200 mm. The exposure was f/11 and 1/320 sec. Image by Irwin H. Segel.
